Verf. beweist \[ \frac{n! \,L_n^{(\alpha)}(x) \,L_n^{(\alpha)}(y)}{\varGamma(n+\alpha+1)}= \frac{1}{\sqrt{\pi}} \int\limits_{0}^{\pi} e^{-\cos \theta \sqrt{xy}} \frac{J_{\alpha-\frac{1}{2}}(\sin \, \theta \sqrt{xy})} {(\frac{1}{2} \sin \, \theta \sqrt{xy})^{\alpha-\frac{1}{2}}} \sin^{2\alpha} \theta L_n^{(\alpha)}(x+y+2 \,\cos \, \theta \sqrt{xy}) \,d \theta \] und gewinnt gewisse Abschätzungen für die Laguerreschen Polynome aus dieser Beziehung.
