Verf. gibt die Rechnungen ausführlich wieder, die ihn zu den früher [Mon. Not. Astron. Soc. Lond. 98, 448--458 (1938; JFM 64.0815.06)] mitgeteilten Ergebnissen geführt haben. \textit{K. Walter} hat in der vorstehend besprochenen Arbeit [Z. Astrophys. 17, 320--343 (1939; JFM 65.0913.04)] die Näherung als unzulänglich kritisiert, da sie nur die Approximation von H. N. Russel für die Apsidenbewegung liefert, nicht aber das rückwärts drehende, von Librationen verursachte Zusatzglied.
