The investigation of the intensity of the secondary electromagnetic radiation (flashing polaritons) allows to judge the energy of a charged particle (i.e., to solve one of the problem of detecting particles) and to ensure the stable functioning of devices used under conditions of irradiation. These polaritons are localized in super thin objects like the crystal nanofilm with a diamondlike structure. Expressions for the spectral density of the radiation excited by the field of the charged particle in a quasi-two-dimensional film are deduced.
