War die Theorie der Zähigkeitsmessung mit Hilfe einer schwingenden Scheibe bisher nur für Gase geringer Dichte und kleiner Zähigkeit hergeleitet, so entwickelt Verf. nun eine Theorie für beliebige Dichten und Zähigkeiten. Bekannte Formeln von Maxwell sind in seinen Ergebnissen enthalten. Die Endkorrektur sowie die Möglichkeit des Eintritts turbulenter Strömung werden erörtert.
