Mit Hilfe einer sinnvollen Erweiterung der \textit{Blasius}schen Formeln gelingt die Auf\-stellung einfacher Ausdrücke für die im Fall eines beliebig in einer idealen inkompressib\-len Flüssigkeit bewegten unendlichen Zylinders auftretenden Kräfte und Momente. Als Beispiel dient die allgemeine Bewegung eines elliptischen Zylinders.
