Erweiterung einiger Sätze von \textit{Helly} (1912; F. d. M. 43, 418 (JFM 43.0418.*)) und \textit{H. Weyl} (1916; F. d. M. 46, 278 (JFM 46.0278.*)). Als Anwendung gibt Verf. einen neuen Beweis seines Hauptsatzes in einer Untersuchung über Variationsrechnung (On approximation by polygons in the calculus of variations, Proceedings Royal Soc. London A 141 (1933), 325-341 (F. d. M. \(59_{\text{II}}\)), \S {} 3, 2) und einen Deformationssatz für Kurvenintegrale, aus dem ein Transformationssatz über \textit{Stieltjes}integrale folgt.
