The authors consider a multi-point super-Halley-type method for solving nonlinear equations in Banach spaces. The classical Halley method and its variants employ a second-order derivative of the map, which can be computationally expensive. Also, an earlier convergence analysis due to \textit{J. M. Gutiérrez} and \textit{M. A. Hernández} [Comput. Math. Appl. 36, No. 7, 1--8 (1998; Zbl 0933.65063)] requires a Lipschitz second-order derivative. The authors propose a multi-point Halley method, which avoids computing the second-order derivative by introducing one auxiliary point. The derivation of the method is given. The main theoretical result is a semilocal convergence with an \(R\)-order, under relaxed conditions. The paper concludes with some numerical results.
