There exist \(51\) non-isomorphic groups of order \(32\) numbered in [\textit{M. Hall jun.} and \textit{J. K. Senior}, The groups of order \(2^n\) (\(n\leq 6\)). New York: The Macmillan Company; Toronto, Ontario: Collier-Macmillan Canada, Ltd. (1964; Zbl 0192.11701)] by \(1,\ldots,51\). Some of these groups are classical and named, e.g., the dihedral group, the generalized quaternion group, the semi-dihedral group and the quasi-dihedral group. Explicit calculations of Morava \(K(s)^\ast(BG)\) rings of the classifying space \(BG\) for groups \(G\) of order \(32\) are scattered in the literature, see e.g., [\textit{M. Bakuradze} and \textit{M. Jibladze}, J. K-Theory 13, No. 1, 171--198 (2014; Zbl 1304.55004)] and [\textit{B. Schuster}, Algebr. Geom. Topol. 11, No. 1, 503--521 (2011; Zbl 1208.55004)]. The authors analyze the Morava \(K\)-theory rings \(K(2)^\ast(BG)\) at \(2\) of the classifying space \(BG\) of some groups \(G\) of order \(32\) via Hilbert-Poincaré polynomials. In each example the ring \(K(2)^\ast(BG)\) is presented as a quotient of a polynomial ring \(K(2)^\ast[x_1, x_2,\ldots, x_m]\) by an ideal \(I\) generated by explicit polynomials.
