The authors introduce and consider a new class of CR-lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Sasakian manifold. These submanifolds are called quasi generalized Cauchy-Riemann (QGCR) light-like submanifolds. They show that under suitable additional assumptions such submanifolds belong to other known classes and prove the non-existence theorems concerning totally umbilical and totally geodesic QGCR-lightlike submanifolds. Moreover, the authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for a light-like submanifold \(M\) of an indefinite Sasakian space form \(\overline M(c)\) with \(c\neq 1\) to be a QGCR-lightlike submanifold of \(\overline M(c)\). Finally, they derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the distributions \(D\) and \(\widehat D\), where \(TM=D\oplus\widehat D\) and \(M\) is a QGCR-lightlike submanifold of an indefinite nearly Sasakian manifold, to be integrable.
