Legendre spectral collocation methods for Volterra delay-integro-differential equations (Q2629255)

The paper presents a Legendre spectral collocation method for nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations with non-vanishing delays. Following a review of existing methods, the paper presents results for two different forms of the problem. In each case the authors discuss first a single step scheme and provide an error analysis. They go on to consider a multiple-domain collocation method. The paper concludes with some examples showing the performance of the approximate solutions against the exact solutions.
