    Let \(\Omega \subset \mathbb C^n\) be a bounded domain. By \(K_\Omega \) we denote the Bergman kernel function off the diagonal of \(\Omega \times \Omega\). The domain \(\Omega\) is called a Lu Qi-Keng domain if \(K_\Omega (z,w) \neq 0\) for any \(z,w \in \Omega\). As is well known, the unit ball is Lu Qi-Keng, but a circular ring in the plane in general is not. The author considers for \(p,q,r>0\) the domains \[ D_{q,r}^p:= \big\{z \in \mathbb C^3: |z_1|^p+|z_2|^q<1,\, |z_1|^p+|z_3|^r<1 \big\} \] and obtains the result that for arbitrary choices of \(q\) and \(r\) the domains \(D_{q,r}^2 \) are Lu Qi-Keng domains. It is known that \(C_1:= \big\{z \in \mathbb C^3 : |z_1|+|z_2|^2<1,\, |z_3|<1 \big\} \) and \(C_2:=\big\{z \in \mathbb C^3: |z_1|+|z_3|^2<1,\, |z_2|<1 \big\} \) are Lu Qi-Keng domains. The author shows that \(C_1 \cap C_2\) does no longer have this property. He shows the more general result that \(D_{r,r}^1\) is Lu Qi-Keng for no \(r>0\).
