Regularity results on the Leray-alpha magnetohydrodynamics systems (Q2630057)

One studies certain generalized Leray-alpha magnetohydrodynamics systems. By extending some previous results of Zou and Fen one shows that the solution pairs of velocity and magnetic fields to these systems in two dimensions preserve their initial regularity but only in two particular cases. Moreover for certain three-dimensional Leray-alpha magnetohydrodynamics systems it is proved that a sufficient regularity condition may be reduced to a horizontal gradient or a partial derivative in just one direction of the magnetic field conditions. A rich history concerning the above mentioned systems is also presented.
