This paper proceeds with the study of the \(\mathcal{C}^0\)-symplectic geometry of smooth submanifolds, as initiated in [\textit{V. Humilière} et al., Duke Math. J. 164, No. 4, 767--799 (2015; Zbl 1327.53109); the second author, Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 42, No. 5, 857--864 (2009; Zbl 1186.53054)], with the main focus on the behaviour of symplectic homeomorphisms with respect to numerical invariants like capacities. The main result of this paper is that a symplectic homeomorphism may preserve and squeeze-codimension \(4\) symplectic submanifolds (\(\mathcal{C}^0\)-flexibility), while this is impossible for codimension-2 symplectic submanifolds (\(\mathcal{C}^0\)-rigidity). The authors also discuss \(\mathcal{C}^0\)-invariants of coistropic and Lagrangian submanifolds, proving some rigidity results and formulating some conjectures. They finally formulate an Eliashberg-Gromov \(\mathcal{C}^0\)-rigidity type question for submanifolds, which they solve in many cases. Their main technical tool is a quantitative \(h\)-principle result in symplectic geometry.
