The authors construct quasi-isometry invariants of relatively hyperbolic groups which detect the hyperbolic parts of the group. These invariants are variations of the stable dimension constructions previously introduced by the authors [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 95, No. 3, 963--988 (2017; Zbl 1475.20069)]. The authors show: Theorem 1: Let $\mathcal{G}$ be a collection of finitely many finitely generated groups (possibly with repetitions). There is a group $G$ which is 1-ended and hyperbolic relative to $\mathcal{G}$. Theorem 2: Let $\mathcal{G}$ be a finite collection of finitely generated groups each of which has finite stable dimension. There is an infinite family of 1-ended groups with strictly increasing stable dimension, where each member is hyperbolic relative to G. The groups are constructed using classical small cancellation theory over free products. The authors introduce the notion of relative stable dimension: the supremal asymptotic dimension of a stable subset of a space $X$ which avoids, in some sense, a collection of subspaces $Y$ of $X$. Then various theorems are shown which shed light on the relative stable dimension.
