    The authors present conditions under which a step skew product possesses a topological invariant attractor. Furthermore, they provide some mild conditions to ensure the ergodic attraction property of this attractor. Such an object is obtained by considering the graph of the coding map associated with a nonempty set of weakly hyperbolic sequences of a step skew product. They prove existence assuming only the continuity of the fibers maps of the step skew product, and obtain the ergodic attraction without any contracting-like assumption. The ergodic attraction is obtained by assuming that the set of weakly hyperbolic sequences has probability one. Finally, they study the existence of globally attracting measures which, under additional assumptions, have exponential convergence rate.
