Let \(M\) and \(N\) be von Neumann algebras. A Hilbert space \(H\) is said to be an \(M\)-\(N\) bimodule if it is equipped with a *-representation \(\pi_H\) of \(M \odot N^{op}\) that is individually normal in each component, where \(N^{op}\) denotes the opposite von Neumann algebra of \(N\). One refers to \(\pi_{H | M}\) as the left \(M\)-action and \(\pi_{H | N }\) as the right \(N\)-action, and sets \(x \xi y=\pi_H (x \otimes y^{op}) \xi \), for \(x \in M\) and \(y \in N\), and \(\xi \in H\). In this paper, the authors study several mixing properties of (coarse) bimodules and their relations with associated completely positive maps.
