The authors of this research paper define several concepts within the realm of convergence approach spaces that are relative to a certain class of filters \(\mathbb{D}\). In the first part they define \(\mathbb{D}\)-compact filters, \(\mathbb{D}\)-quotient maps and \(\mathbb{D}\)-perfect maps and prove that, depending on which class of filters is used, these concepts are equivalent with certain well known properties of convergence approach spaces, such as countable compactness and closed-expansive maps. The second part of this paper contains two equivalent descriptions of \(\mathbb{D}\)-0-compactness that generalise the Kuratowski-Mròwka characterisation of compactness for topological spaces.
