Let \(B\) be an indefinite quaternion algebra over \(\mathbb{Q}\) and \(M^B_0(p)\) the associated Shimura curve of \(\Gamma _0(p)\)-type over \(\mathbb{Q}\) which parametrizes isomorphism classes of triples \((A,i,V)\), where \(A\) is a QM-abelian surface, \(i\) an embedding of \(\mathcal{O}\) into \(\mathrm{End}(A)\) and \(V\) a left \(\mathcal{O}\)-submodule of \(A[p]\) with \(\mathbb{F}_p\)-dimension \(2\). The author proves that if \(k\) is a Galois field extension of \(\mathbb{Q}\) and \(k\) does not contain the Hilbert class field of any imaginary quadratic field, then under certain mild assumptions we have: - if \(B \otimes _{\mathbb{Q}} k \simeq M_2(k)\) then \(M_0 ^B(p)(k) = \emptyset\). - if \(B \otimes _{\mathbb{Q}} k \not \simeq M_2(k)\) then \(M_0 ^B(p)(k)\) contains only elliptic points of order \(2\) or \(3\). For Part I, see the author and \textit{F. Momose} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 690, 179--202 (2014; Zbl 1338.11055); Errata ibid. 690, 203--205 (2014)].
