In this paper the following result is proven: Theorem A. Let \(G=\langle X\mid r^n\rangle\) be a one-relator group with torsion which does not admit a free group as a free factor. Then exactly one non-elementary vertex group of the JSJ-decomposition of \(G\) contains torsion. All other non-elementary vertex groups are torsion-free hyperbolic groups. Any edge group is a subgroup of a malnormal infinite cyclic subgroup of \(G\). Two theorems on the structure of two-generator one-relator groups are given. In Theorem 1 the possible JSJ-decompositions of such a group are described and in Theorem 2 it is shown that such a group is either of the form \(\langle a,b\mid [a,b]^n\rangle\) or has virtually cyclic outer automorphism group. In the end examples of one-relator groups with torsion with non-trivial JSJ-decomposition are presented.
