In this paper the author studies algebraic quadratic irrationals with the following property: the continued fractions of such quadratic irrationals have the same integer value for all elements in the period but the last (this concerns only the periodic part of the continued fraction). The author gives a general expression for such quadratic irrationals. Further he deduces expressions for the fundamental solutions of Pell's equation for such cases.
