In this paper, the authors consider the stability of a generalized Volterra-Levin equation of the form \[ \frac{dx}{dt}=-\int_{t-L}^tp(s-t)g(s,x(s))ds,\quad t>0 \] \[ x(t)=\psi(t),\quad t-L\leq t\leq t_0 \] where \(p\in C([-L,0], \mathbb R)\) and \(g\in C(\mathbb R\times \mathbb R, \mathbb R)\). \(3/2\)-stability conditions are established for ensuring that the zero solution of the equation is uniformly stable, asymptotically stable and globally asymptotically stable. Further results are obtained under nonnegativity assumption.
