In der Arbeit werden einige Eigenschaften der Anfangswertaufgabe \[ s,_ t+(sg),_ x=0,\quad (cs),_ t+(csg),_ x=0,\quad u(x)=u(x,0) \] studiert. Dabei ist \(u=(s,c)\), \(s=s(x,t)\), \(c=c(x,t)\), \(g=g(u)\), \(-\infty <x<+\infty\), \(t>0\), \(0<s,c<1.\) Im Text werden häufig die Ergebnisse der Arbeit des zweiten Autors [Adv. Appl. Math. 3, 335-375 (1982; Zbl 0508.76107)] verwendet.
