The author describes explicitly all weight functions which have the property that the \(n_ k\)-point Gauss quadrature formula has equal weights for all k in \({\mathbb{N}}\), where \((n_ k)\), \(n_ 1<n_ 2<...\), is an arbitrary subsequence of \({\mathbb{N}}\). Furthermore an upper bound for the degree of exactness of a nonstrict Chebyshev quadrature formula is given. It is shown that nodes of a Chebyshev quadrature formula which are not contained in the support of the distribution function converge to a boundary point of the support. Finally a necessary condition for a distribution function, admitting Chebyshev quadrature on several intervals for a subsequence of N, is given.
