This is an expository paper and does not contain new results and proofs. Some known facts (and proofs for these facts) concerning the product of ccc spaces (topological spaces which satisfy the countable chain condition) are given. For example: (1) \(MA+\rceil CH\) implies that the product of a family of ccc spaces a ccc space; (2) CH implies that there are ccc spaces X and Y such that \(X\times Y\) is not a ccc space (the example due to \textit{R. Laver} and \textit{F. Galvin}).
