Comparison theorems for algorithmic models (Q2638727)

The authors study monotonicity properties of iteration sequences and their limit points. The presented results can be used for establishing the monotonicity of the solutions of parametric equations, optimization problems and equilibria in dynamic processes. Application to the initial- value problem for ordinary differential equations, the linear input- output systems and nonnegative invertibility of real matrices are presented.
