Let X be a normed linear space, \(F:X\to X\) a nonlinear mapping, \(y^*\) an exact solution of \(F(y)=0\), \((y_ k)\) a sequence obtained by the two- step iterative method, \(\epsilon\) a given positive number. Some conditions under which the exactness \(\| y^*-y_ k\| \leq \epsilon\) can be reached by the finite number of iterations are derived.
