Fuzzy matrices \(R=[r_{ij}]\) \(i,j=1,2,...,n\) studied in this paper satisfy proximity properties namely \(r_{ii}=1\), \(r_{ij}=r_{ji}\). The aim is to construct their transitive max-min closures. The introduced method is based upon a series of modifications of ``small rectangles'' of a relation R defined as \(R_{i-j-k}=\{r_{ij},r_{jk},r_{ik}\}\) where one vertex stands on the main diagonal of R. A proof of the procedure is given.
