This article is an announcement (without proofs) of some results about complex finite dimensional representations of the Lie algebra \(sl(2)\leftthreetimes {\mathbb{R}}^ 2\). The category of such representations is equivalent to the category of triples \((H,U^+,U^-)\) were \(H=\oplus H_ k\) is a graded vector space, \(k\in (1/2)\cdot {\mathbb{Z}}\), \(U^+,U^- \) are linear operators such that \(U^+\cdot U^-=U^-\cdot U^+\) and \(U^ c(H_ k)\subset H_{k+c/2}\). A triple is said to be elementary if \(U^+,U^-\) preserve some graded basis of H. The restriction of an arbitrary irreducible representation of sl(3,\({\mathbb{R}})\) to \(sl(2)\leftthreetimes {\mathbb{R}}^ 2\subset sl(3,{\mathbb{R}})\) is elementary. Each elementary triple is represented by a planar graph. There are given results about projective representations and indecomposable components of tensor products.
