The lower bound in the law of the iterated logarithm for harmonic functions (Q2639410)

The lower bound version of the analogue of the LIL for harmonic functions is obtained under a condition which is weaker than the counterpart for harmonic functions of Kolmogorov's type condition providing the LIL for martingales. The condition is proved to be sharp modulo the constants involved. The paper solves in affirmative R. F. Gundy's conjecture for harmonic functions since the upper bounds have been established earlier by the same authors.
