    Let M be a finitely generated module of projective dimension n over a commutative ring R. Assume that R is perfect, i.e. \(Ext^ i(M,R)=0\) for all \(i\neq n\). Let \(0\to F_ n\to^{f_ n}F_{n-1}\to...\to F_ 1\to^{f_ 1}F_ 0\) be a projective resolution of M. Let \(k\in \{2,3,...,n-1\}\) and \(r:=rk(f_ k)\). Then it is shown that \(I_{r- 2}(f_ k)\), \(I_{r-1}(f_ k)\) and \(I_ r(f_ k)\) have the same radical as the annihilator of M, provided either \(rk(f_ n)=1\) and \(n\equiv 1\) mod 4 or \(n\neq 2k-1\). Here \(rk(f)=\sup \{j: \bigwedge^ jf\neq 0\}\) and \(I_ m(f_ k)\) is the image of the map \(\bigwedge^ mF_ k\otimes \bigwedge^ mF^*_{k-1}\to R\) induced by \(f_ k\).
