A group G is called nonfactorable, if for any two subgroups \(G_ 1\), \(G_ 2\) different from G, the subgroup \(gp(G_ 1,G_ 2)\) generated by \(G_ 1\) and \(G_ 2\) is different from G. In this paper periodic metabelian nonfactorable groups are described. This result gives the solution of problem 7.5. from ``The Kourovka notebook'' (1980; Zbl 0448.20002).
