On 3-connected 10-dimensional manifolds (Q2640198)

This paper describes the diffeomorphism classification of 10-dimensional 3-connected \(\pi\)-manifolds M for which \(H_ 4(M)\) is torsion free. Such an M is a connected sum \[ M'\#(S^ 5\times S^ 5)\#...\#(S^ 5\times S^ 5) \] where \(M'\) satisfies the same condition and has \(H_ 5(M')=0\). These \(M'\) are classified up to diffeomorphism mod \(\theta\) \({}_{10}\) by their homotopy types. A complete list of homotopy types is given.
