Given a first-order theory T, let us say that P(T,\(\nu\)) holds if every infinite \(\nu^+\)-saturated model A of T satisfies \(| A|^{\nu}=| A|\). There are given sufficient (and necessary) conditions on the exponentiation function for P(T,\(\nu\)) to hold in case T is the theory of atomless Boolean algebras, of ordered fields or of real closed fields.
