The sum mentioned in the title of the paper is related to the additive divisor problem, which corresponds to the choice \(\alpha =0\). Using an identity due to \textit{N. V. Kuznetsov} [Zap. Nauchn. Semin. Leningr. Otd. Mat. Inst. Steklova 129, 43-84 (1983; Zbl 0496.10013)], the authors derive an asymptotic formula for this sum for \(0<\alpha <3/2\). The limiting case \(\alpha\to 0\) gives a result of Kuznetsov on the additive divisor problem.
