Having evaluated the zeta-function of an order in an imaginary quadratic field explicitly (it differs by a finite number of factors from the zeta- function of the field), the author proves the corresponding generalization of the Chowla-Selberg formula along the same lines as in [\textit{A. Weil}, Elliptic functions according to Eisenstein and Kronecker (1976; Zbl 0318.33004)]. It is noted that this generalization was first obtained by \textit{Y. Nakkajima} and \textit{Y. Taguchi}, Master's thesis, University of Tokyo (1989) who used a different method. From their point of view, it describes the behaviour of heights of elliptic curves under isogeny. \{Cf. also the review Zbl 0721.11045.\}
