A lot of pinching theorems are well-known in Riemannian geometry [\textit{M. Berger}, Ann. Sc. Norm. Super. Pisa, Cl. Sci., III. Ser. 14, 161-170 (1960; Zbl 0096.155); \textit{W. Klingenberg}, Comment. Math. Helv. 35, 47- 54 (1961; Zbl 0133.150); \textit{D. Gromoll}, Math. Ann. 164, 353-371 (1966; Zbl 0135.403); \textit{E. A. Ruh}, J. Differ. Geom. 17, 643-653 (1982; Zbl 0508.53053); \textit{M. Gromov} and \textit{W. Thurston}, Invent. Math. 89, 1-12 (1987; Zbl 0646.53037)]. The author presents several pinching theorems for \(L^{n/2}\)-curvature bounded Riemannian manifolds \(M^ n\) under some additional assumptions on the Ricci tensor, injectivity radius, diameter etc. The main results are proved with the help of different estimates on the metric which are based on integral bounds on curvature, but are not consequences of the Rauch comparison theorem.
