On the non-cocommutativity of the mod 2 cohomology ring of certain finite H-spaces (Q2640938)

The author considers one situation where one can deduce that the mod 2 cohomology of a mod 2 finite H-space is not primitively generated simply from the cohomology ring structure; that is when it is isomorphic to the cohomology of Spin(N) for \(2^{n+1}+2\leq N\leq 2^{n+2}-4\) (n\(\geq 3)\). Projective plane techniques are used and Kane's form of the loop space theorem. The proof is not quite complete.
