The authors propose a homotopy method to find possibly singular solutions of systems of nonlinear analytic equations. The equations are embedded in an analytic homotopy map, where the Jacobian has full rank except possibly at the endpoint. Following a path which leads to the desired solution, the real axis is left in favour of a path which circles the endpoint in the complex plane when either the condition of the Jacobian becomes too large or one is close to the endpoint. The solution is then computed via a version of Cauchy's integral formula, thus avoiding completely the actual computation with singular systems. The method is demonstrated on some examples.
