On p-adic bounds of linear forms and polynomials for a class of power series (Q2641340)

The author states a number of results giving p-adic lower bounds for linear forms and polynomials in F-functions evaluated at certain algebraic points, which extend and sharpen the earlier results due to \textit{V. G. Chirskij} [Vestn. Mosk. Univ., Ser. I. 1989, No.5, 33-36 (1989; Zbl 0691.10031), Engl. translation in Mosc. Univ. Math. Bull. 44, 41-44 (1989)]. In particular, these results can be applied to the functions \(f_{\lambda}(z)=\lambda +\sum^{\infty}_{\nu =1}(\lambda +1)...(\lambda +\nu)z^{\nu}\) and \(F_{\lambda}(z)=\sum^{\infty}_{\nu =1}\nu ![\lambda,\nu]z^{2\nu}.\) Other results of F-functions were obtained by \textit{L. Wang} [J. Aust. Math. Soc., Ser. A 35, 269-280 (1983; Zbl 0523.10022)].
