It is established that in the case of vector fast variable the set of systems for which the order reduction method is invalid is dense in the class of systems under consideration. This extends the results of the author [Math. Control Signals Syst. 15, No. 2, 101--119 (2002; Zbl 1004.49026)], where only systems with linear fast variables were considered.
