The author considers a probability space \((\Omega, \tau,\mu)\), and three-dimensional random tensor of resistivity \(\widetilde\rho\) defined on it, that is a random field \[ \widetilde\rho: \mathbb{R}^3\times\Omega\mapsto S^+_3,\quad (x,\omega)\mapsto\widetilde\rho(x, \omega) \] of symmetric positive definite \(3\times 3\) matrices. The author assumes that there exists a measure preserving action on \(\mathbb{R}^3\), \[ T: \mathbb{R}^3\times \Omega\to \Omega,\quad (x,\omega)\mapsto T_x \omega \] and positive definite symmetric random matrix \(\omega\mapsto\rho(\omega)\) defined on \(\Omega\), such that \(\widetilde\rho(x,\omega)= \rho(T_x\omega)\). In addition, the author assumes that the dynamical system \((\Omega,\tau,\mu, (T_x)_{x\in \mathbb{R}^3})\) on which \(\rho\) is defined is ergodic. The main goal of this paper is to prove that the resistivity of an infinite stationary random considered in the paper can be computed from one realization. This is done via the application of the pointwise degree 2 ergodic theorem for divergence-free stationary random fields.
