The authors study the questions regarding the local and global asymptotic stability of analytic autonomous ordinary differential equations in \(\mathbb{R}^n\). It is well-known that such stability can be characterized in terms of Lyapunov functions and that there are some inverse theorems stating that some stability properties imply the existence of corresponding Lyapunov functions. The authors prove similar results for the existence and application of Dulac functions. The results are used to give criteria of global attraction in a series of concrete two-dimensional systems.
