Let \(R\) be a prime ring with \(\text{char\,}R\neq 2\), \(I\) a nonzero right ideal of \(R\), and \(d\) and \(h\) nonzero derivations of \(R\). The main theorem of this paper assumes that for all \(x,y\in[I, I]\), \(dh([x,y])=[dh(x),y]+[x,dh(y)]\), and proves that either \(d(I)I=h(I)I=0\) or \(S_4(I,I,I,I)I=0\) for \(S_4\) the standard identity of degree four.
