Regular orbit theorems have been the object of recent research. To mention only a result, we have the Hall-Liebeck-Seitz theorem asserting that, with a finite number of exceptions, a simple group has a regular orbit on a module of coprime characteristic. Applications of regular orbit theorems include Hall-Higman type theorems, Fitting length problems, Brauer modular conjectures for solvable groups and character degrees results. In the paper under review, a regular orbit theorem for Hall subgroups of a group of odd order is obtained. As a corollary, it is shown that if \(| G|\) is odd and \(H\) is a Hall \(\pi\)-subgroup of \(G\), then \(G\) has an irreducible complex character \(\chi\) such that \(\chi(1)\) is divisible by \(| G:O_{\pi ',\pi}(G)|_{\pi}\).
