The paper is concerned with the frequently investigated Lotka-Volterra predator-prey system. As opposed to deterministic settings, here the model is studied under the action of a telegraph noise, which switches at random two prey-predator models. The prey and predator densities are considered as state variables. Some properties of the model are established. The constant \(\lambda\) is introduced in a special way and it is shown that some bounds are valid for the solutions of the system under investigation according to the values of \(\lambda\). Finally, numerical simulations are done. It is shown how switching occurs in the model. The orbits of the given system are exhibited for various initial conditions. The analysis in this paper may be used for predictions of the model. This possibility is discussed for an ecological system when there are two species related by the predator-prey relation.
