On the spectrum \(bo \wedge \)tmf (Q2655011)

This well-written paper concerns the spectrum of topological modular forms \(\text{tmf}\) [see \textit{M. J. Hopkins}, in: Li, Ta Tsien (ed.) et al. Proceedings of the international congress of mathematicians, ICM 2002, Beijing, China, August 20--28, 2002. Vol. I: Plenary lectures and ceremonies. Beijing: Higher Education Press. 291--317 (2002; Zbl 1031.55007)]. The main result is a \(\text{bo}\)-module splitting \(\text{bo} \wedge \text{tmf} \simeq \text{bo} \wedge \Omega\) where \(\Omega\) is a wedge of integral Brown-Gitler spectra. The author's work builds on that of \textit{M. Mahowald} [Pac. J. Math. 92, 365--383 (1981; Zbl 0476.55021)] who gave a corresponding splitting for \(\text{bo} \wedge \text{bo}\).
