Let \(p\) and \(\ell\neq p\) be primes and \(N\geq 3\) a positive integer prime to \(p\). Fix some primitive \(N\)-th root of unity \(\zeta_N\in \overline{{\mathbb Q}}\subset {\mathbb C}\). In this paper, arithmetic aspects of supersingular \(\ell\)-adic Hecke orbits in the Siegel modular space over \(\overline{{\mathbb F}}_p\) of \(g\)-dimensional principally polarized abelian varieties with symplectic level-\(N\)-structure with respect to \(\zeta_N\) are studied. In case \(g=2\), the size of these supersingular Hecke orbits is computed explicitly. For this one has to determine the underlying \(p\)-divisible group structure of such an orbit. This is achieved via the calculation of the geometric mass formula. The main result of the present article consists of the examination of the \(p\)-divisible group structure for some supersingular, non-superspecial abelian varieties. The present article is to be compared to the works of \textit{C.-L. Chai} [Invent. Math. 121, No. 3, 439--479 (1995; Zbl 0990.11039)] and also \textit{C.-L. Chai} and \textit{F. Oort} [cf. Bogomolov, Fedor (ed.) et al., Geometric methods in algebra and number theory. Basel: Birkhäuser. Progress in Mathematics 235, 71--107 (2005; Zbl 1143.14021)], where similar results about ordinary \(\ell\)-adic Hecke orbits are obtained.
