This paper is intended to raise attention to Gustave Juvet, a pioneer of Cliffordian studies, analyzing his contributions as recognized by his contemporaries. The author gives a rich collection of citations and opinions of mathematicians about the works of Juvet in different fields. Indeed, he was active as a mathematician, physicist and philosopher and in consolidating mathematical research in Switzerland, as a member of the editorial board of the prestigious Commentarii Mathematici Helvetici and President of the Société Mathématique Suisse. Besides, Juvet was a pioneer in efforts to disseminate modern theories of physics and chemistry. He was a colleague of Jean Piaget and well regarded by him. The paper is an important contribution to the History of Mathematics. My only objection is to the phrase ``Gustave Juvet, cet inconnu!'' in the first page of the paper. Juvet is well known.
