The main result of the paper under review consists in a generalization of a theorem previously obtained by \textit{V. di Gennaro} and the reviewer about the existence of factorial complete intersection threefolds of \({\mathbb{P}^5}\) with many nodes [see Theorem 2.9 and Corollary 2.10 in: Commun. Contemp. Math. 10, No. 5, 745--764 (2008; Zbl 1156.14006)]. Denote by \(\nu_m (d)\) the maximal integer for which there exists for \({d \gg 0}\) a factorial threefold \({X\subset \mathbb{P}^5}\) complete intersection of hypersurfaces of degree respectively \(d\) and \(d - 1\) such that \(X\) has only ordinary singularities of order \(m\) and \(|\text{Sing}(X)| = \nu_m (d)\). The author proves that, \({\nu_m(d)\geq \varphi(d)}\) where \({\varphi(d)\sim d^5}\) asymptotically.
