The authors give a necessary and sufficient condition in terms of boundary data and equation coefficients for the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution to the Dirichlet problem for elliptic equations in two-dimensional exterior Lipschitz domains. It is also proved that the solution converges uniformly at infinity to an assigned constant value.
